About Greta
Greta’s love for animals is as old as she is! Growing up surrounded by furry friends, she discovered a special connection with the tiny but mighty gerbil. There’s something undeniably heartwarming about these little creatures, and Greta’s passion for their care shines through in every whisker-twitching bundle of joy she raises.
She’s been a devoted gerbil breeder since 2013 and is a proud member of the American Gerbil Society. Greta’s dedication to her furry friends is evident in her commitment to AGS standards. She’s all about creating a happy, healthy environment where her gerbils can thrive before finding their forever homes.
Adopting one of Greta’s gerbils means welcoming a little ball of love into your family. She’s always there to offer advice and support, making sure you and your new pet become the best of friends. And as a proud member of Texas’ growing gerbil community, Greta is excited to share her passion with fellow enthusiasts.
About the Kennel
Our kennel is nestled in the dreamy Hill Country region surrounding Austin, Texas. We began our journey in 2013 as Cedar Moon Gerbils with our first breeding pair: the lovely Mottled Black female, Frigga, and the dashing Colorpoint Agouti, Odin (aka Skipper), who joined us from Katy at Central Texas Gerbils.
Part of our core mission is preserving the standards that define the Mongolian Gerbil species. We delight in sharing our knowledge about gerbils and the joy they bring to families through adoption. Additionally, we’re committed to helping gerbils in need and opposing large-scale commercial breeding.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far and continue to advocate for happy, hopping, and healthy gerbils!
